Prof Noriko Chikumoto

Professor
Center of Applied Superconductivity & Sustainable Energy

Chubu University

Prof Chikumoto attained her PhD in Chemical Energy Engineering from The University of Tokyo. She is currently a Professor of the Center of Applied Superconductivity and Sustainable Energy Research, Department of Applied Chemistry, Innovative Energy Science and Engineering (Graduate School), and Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Graduate School), Chubu University. Her study focuses on the areas of superconducting materials, material science and applied physics. Her research interests include the mechanism and physical properties of the superconducting materials, in particular, the physics of vortex matter and flux pinning, development of large critical current coated superconductors for practical application, and also search for new high critical temperature superconducting materials.
